On Wednesday 9th March students attended WE Day at Wembley Arena.

WE Day is a celebration of youth making a difference in their local and global communities.  The WE Schools is a year long program that nurtures compassion in young people and gives them the tools to create transformative social change.  There were many celebrity performances and music that the students enjoyed.  Elm Court was very lucky to be given this opportunity and the students really enjoyed themselves.  Please see below for what some students thought of the day.

I enjoyed WE Day because of the inspiring speeches encouraging us young people to be more motivated and to change the world.  We also had a great experience seeing famous celebrities sing top hits” – Jake

“I enjoyed WE Day because I liked the singing and learned more about young carers that we have been doing in our Humanities lessons” – Tomide

“I was so excited to see and hear my favourite artists perform. The talks were great and I learned about ways we can change some of the things that are happening in the world like bullying” – Amy

“I enjoyed the girls dancing and the singing. I had loads of fun” – Monique

“My first time at a real concert with rappers and famous artists. I had a fantastic time” – Gabriela
