Elm Court School celebrated its fourth annual Arts Festival. This year we celebrated the Arts through a number of workshops that students engaged with. We made our own decoupage sculptures and a large mural that celebrates diversity. The mural incorporates different artist skills including paint work, spray painting, stencilling and printmaking. Not only did we do Art and Design we also engaged in other subject areas such as science to develop and make our own soap and bath products. Celebrating Music, dance and drama is important during the festival. We had music video production, DJ mixing using digital software and video choreography sessions this year which have been a great success.
It’s a special year for us as we achieved Arts Mark status at the end of the last academic year. We are very proud of the Arts facilities at Elm Court School and the students really enjoyed their Arts Festival for the fourth year running.
