Ola!

On the 28th of April we had Spanish Day at Elm Court School.

KS3 students attended workshops with the topic “Spanish around the World”.  The workshops were delivered by one a trainers from the Instituto San Fernando based in Seville.

The students enjoyed learning fun facts:  500 million people speak Spanish around the world, Spanish is the main language in 21 countries and some trivia about food, famous people and of course, the beloved siesta! The students also worked in Design Technology in making flags representing the Spanish speaking countries, and in Art they looked at Salvador Dali.
