BEST START IN TWO YEARS!
On Wednesday 15th October 2014 both boys’ teams got off to a flyer with an 8-0 win against Glebe A team: five goals from Dominic two from Waqar and one from Justin. Elm Court B team also won their first game 3-0 against Parkwood Hall with goals coming from Billy in year 7, Jaxon and Jamal. Elm Court played some wonderful football winning their next game 1-0 against Rowhill. A long throw out from Steven found Dominic who then went on to lob the keeper from the edge off the box with a full volley. Elm Court B team won their next game 2-0 beating Meadow with goals coming from Jaxon and Billy. Elm Court A Team’s final game was against Drumbeat winning 5-0. Goals were scored by Dominic, Waqar and Justin. Elm Court B team’s next game was against Conisborough, this was a much closer game winning by 2 -0 with both goals scored by Jamal. Elm Court B team’s final game was against Drumbeat which we won 3-0.
Goal of the week contenders were Dominic and Waqar’s 10 touch pass before scoring.
Overall a great team performance with both teams getting off to an amazing start.
