On 3rd and 6th July our pupils attended Grangewaters Outdoor Education Centre for an exciting overnight residential stay.
Grangewaters is a year-round outdoor education centre set in Thurrock’s countryside. Covering more than 70 acres including we have natural woodland, open grassland, 2 lakes, activity areas and accommodation, where pupils camped out in their own tents.
Pupils took part in activities that included climbing, canoeing, archery and dinghy sailing as well as team building exercises.
Both groups had a great time and for some it was an opportunity to experience the outdoors and outdoor activities for the first time.
