On Monday 27th November 2017, Year 10 Hospitality and Tourism pupils visited the British Museum London. Pupils are currently visiting a range of different tourist destinations in and around the capital as part of their BTEC course. Pupils identified different services available at the museum and explained how the museum catered for all types of visitors’ needs.
Pupils really enjoyed the day and viewed many of the antiquities on display including A Statue of Amenhotep the 3rd, Statue of Claudius or Nero, Viking Jewellery, Roman Pottery and many other interesting artifacts.
Pupils even got the chance to handle a 3,000-year-old bronze bracelet during a hands-on talk conducted by one of the museums historians.
